The restaurant boasts a myriad of food stalls featuring authentic dishes from various regions, including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, and local Malaysian delights. Each dish reflects the cultural heritage of its cuisine, allowing you to embark on a global gastronomical journey without leaving your seat.
Double D Puchong is particularly known for its Sibu Kampua noodles, which have garnered praise from patrons for their taste and the warmth of the stall owners. One satisfied guest highlighted the friendly nature of the noodle vendor, sharing insights into his journey as a seller while you savor your dish. However, be mindful that takeout can lead to the noodles drying out, so dining in might be your best bet for an optimal experience.
If you're in the mood for something different, try the seafood noodles—where the perfect broth and fresh seafood combine for a symphony of flavors. Customers rave about the quality and enjoy the generous portions that make for excellent value.
The menu is varied, boasting dishes like Thai fried rice and claypot chicken rice that are well-received, although some diners noted that certain items could use a bit more "wok hei" for that coveted charred taste. Regardless, the culinary offerings are competitively priced, making them accessible without compromising quality.
Overall, Double D Puchong Restaurant stands out not just for its food but also for the unique stories behind each dish. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this destination promises to serve a delightful array of flavors and a vibrant dining ambiance that keeps you coming back for more. “ Came here for breakfast because it was near my hotel. I had the sibu kampua noodle. The stall owner is a friendly gentleman. He shares his story with me, and how he started to sell noodles for a living. The noodles was nice, but since it was a take away, the noodle turned very dry. He has localized the sibu kampua by adding wonton inside. Wonton has thin skin, but the meat filling is not a lot. Nice shallot oil and pork lard. There are many other food stalls there like wantan mee, char koay teow, economy rice, pork noodles. Parking is almost full by 9am. ”
“ Bright apple green corner kopitiam in the centre Puchong Puteri can be easily notified, near to Bumbu Bali. Interesting about this kopitiam, got a few int'l cuisines stalls from Thai, Indo, Vietnam, Korean, and locals, few are mainly owned and cooked by own ethnics, surely you can taste original of their cuisines. I had tasted here Thai fried rice - big portion & tasty, Vietnam foods, curry mee and pan mee ( big portion only Rm$6 is damn cheap), Uncle Wong chickenn....you won't regret eating here. ”
“ Came here and tried the seafood noodles. The broth is the essence of it and it was perfection. Seafood was fresh and tasty. Overall very satisfied with the value and taste. They also have rice instead of noodles. ”
“ Been few times to this place. Found that the food here is quite decent with many varieties. Food price is more reasonable and competitive than surrounding eateries although not necessarily the cheapest. The claypot chicken rice is nice although not the top as there is no crusty rice below (not enough wokhei). Charkeowteow mee have 2 big prawn and taste decent, but also not enough wokhei. So far the nicest food amongst the food I have tried in my personal opinion is the fishball noodle. Tried mixrice once and abit alarmed by the price, so not going to try it again anytime soon yet. Overally, good place for lunch especially won't be so pocket burning for daily lunchtime ”
